6 may 2007 - Wien (AT) – tramway museum, Erdberg. The lovely preserved Wiener Lokalbahn interurban car stands in the museum entrance before working a special trip. WLB trams don’t normally come here, of course.

6 may 2007 - Wien (AT) – tramway museum, Erdberg. Inside the WLB interurban is all beautiful varnished wood, although the seats look a bit hard for the 40 minute trip to Baden. There are two separate compartments (smoking and non-smoking) – remember such things? Now, of course, you can’t smoke anywhere – even at home, if you have a wife like mine…….

6 may 2007 - Wien/Vienna – Erdberg tramway museum. As well as operating its own trams, the Wien museum can sometimes arrange for visiting historic cars to run in nearby streets. Here, an impressive interurban car from the local Wiener Lokalbahn swings into Lechnerstrasse on a circular tour from the museum.
