19 january 1996 - Warszawa, ul. Chodecka. Już są! Wyjechały pierwsze zmontowane w MZA ikarusy z rocznika 1995 czyli seria 55xx. W sumie do marca 1996 r. na ulicach pojawi się 68 takich wozów. Wycofane za nie zostaną głównie ikarusy z lat 1983-84 remontowane w latach 1988-90.
