1 may 2004 - Kosice (SK) - Hlavne namestie. I was reminded today that on 1 May 2004 many of you in Eastern Europe joined the European Union – welcome, everyone, and I hope it has been good for you. I was in Kosice on that day eight years ago (some party!) and there was a nice display of trams and old vehicles in the city centre, including this coach. I have no idea what it is, and couldn’t get the very big crowds out of the way to take a good picture, but I hope someone can identify it? The badge on the front says ‘ARDO’ or similar (a Carosa, maybe?) and the registration is from Bardejov, a Slovak city a little to the north.
