Jakże kontrastuje to z rodzimymi przedmieściami, budowanymi według założeń urbanistyki łanowej, obsługiwanymi przez powolne i meandrujące autobusy.

25 august 2022 - Aue. Tramwaj na linii C13 przed chwilą zakończył jazdę z odległego Burgstädt. Całą trasę pokonał w ok. 1 godz. i 40 minut jadąc przez centrum Chemnitz. Sam południowy odcinek linii jest niezwykle malowniczy i wiedzie głównie wzdłuż doliny rzeki Zwönitz.
