30 march 2020 - Złomowisko pod Warszawą. Drugie życie wagon ten spędził w austriackim Innsbrucku. Trzecie w Łodzi. Czwarte życie wóz (a w zasadzie już tylko jego fragment) dostał w Warszawie jako atrakcja jednej z knajp w centrum miasta. I kiedy zniknął i wszyscy myśleli, że po 57 latach zakończył swój żywot, to niedawno okazało się, że wóz ma jeszcze piąte wcielenie ;) Tym razem robi jako reklama jednego z podwarszawskich złomowisk. Nawet został odmalowany w barwy zbliżone do tych, które miał poprzednio. Zniknął tylko numer taborowy oraz oznaczenia jednego z poprzednich właścicieli. Ciekawe ile tam postoi? Bo wygląda na to, że niedługo minie mu drugi rok tamże. A osobiście nie sądzę, aby dostał jeszcze szóste życie :) Samo foto robione trochę "na partyzanta", bo pracownicy złomowiska zwiększyli swoją czujność widząc kogoś przechadzającego się pod płotem. Na koniec podziękowania dla Piotrka za cynk! Nie sądziłem, że ten przód "helmuta" jeszcze tam stoi, ale jak widać na razie ma się całkiem dobrze :)

3 october 2008 - Resita, Romania - Strada Traian Lalescu: Tram #17 emerges from a short, single-track section through a road underpass and continues towards the city centre. Despite working here in Resita for some years, it still displays a Dortmund destination! The tramway system in Resita finally closed down in 2011, being entirely worn out, and buses replaced the trams.

3 october 2008 - Resita, Romania - Strada Paul Iorgovici: The huge steelworks towers over Resita and forms a backdrop to Duewag tram #17 as it makes its way from the eastern terminus of Piata Republica towards the centre of the city. Services ran to this terminus every few minutes, but an extension to a village further along the same road only seemed to operate once in a long while. Noise and smoke from the steelworks always seems to fill the air in this city.

3 october 2008 - Resita, Romania - tramway depot: Like all the Resita Duewags, the fleet number was displayed in the route number blind box instead of any other visible number, a simple but effective system. All the trams wore advertising liveries, some of which were quite elaborate. This is #13 in the depot yard. .

3 october 2008 - Resita, Romania - tramway depot: Another `one generation` Romanian tramway which opened in 1988 and closed down when all the assets like track and vehicles simply became too worn for further safe operation. The Resita tramway was a single route system through the city and was unusual in that it was owned (like much else in the city) by the local steelworks company - which still runs the bus services today. To keep going a while longer when their original fleet of Romanian-built Timis 2 trams wore out, they were entirely replaced by Duewag GT8 vehicles from Germany and these provided the services until final closure. Here is car #18 in the depot yard.

10 april 2017 - Warszawa, ul. Marszałkowska. Idzie sobie człowiek rano zaspany do roboty, a tu... szybkie otrzeźwienie! Taki widok zastałem bowiem dzisiaj w samym centrum miasta. Knajpa ta była od dawna, ale właściwego tramwaju jeszcze tu nie było. Podobno pod koniec marca wywieziono go z Łodzi, jak widać szybko "wypłynął" w Warszawie. Właściciel jednak profilaktycznie pozaklejał nazwę miasta, z którego kupił wagon. Zapewne w celu ostudzenia emocji co poniektórych ;-) Aha, dodaję pod MPK-Łódź, aby na razie nie komplikować sprawy.

17 may 2014 - Łódź, ul. Piotrkowska. Jedną z atrakcji na tegorocznej "Nocy Muzeów" jest możliwość zwiedzania rozgłośni Radia Łódź. Odwiedzających wozi wagon #1085, w którym można spotkać dziennikarzy radia, kursujący na specjalnej linii M6 pomiędzy Radiostacją a Placem Niepodległości. Pierwszym kursem 1085 miał już 40 minut opóźnienia. Za tramwajem widoczne jest Centralne Muzeum Włokiennictwa, które również bierze udział w "Nocy Muzeuów".

21 april 2012 - Dortmund, Kampstraße. Poczciwy GT8 spędza emeryturę pełniąc rolę kawiarni. Miłośnicy starych tramwajów mają w Dortmundzie dość ciężko, bo nie dość że DSW21 pozbył się wszystkich swoich zabytków, to jedynym odcinkiem gdzie mogłyby one teoretycznie jeździć jest odcinek sieci pomiędzy zajezdnią w Dorstfeld a końcówką w Marten.

3 october 2008 - Resita (RO) – depou/zajezdnia Renk. This ex-Dortmund car seems to have escaped the TWB scorers until now, as it wasn’t shown in our database. Here it is, however, resting between duties in the depot, near Resita Nord train station, so it has obviously been here all along.

3 october 2008 - Resita (RO) - Piata Republicii. This was the normal southern terminus, where the line swung to the side of the road before sweeping back towards the city on a tight loop across the busy road. Tracks continued from here to another terminus at Stavila, some distance further along the same road, but we never managed to travel this section during our visit and assumed it was closed. Too late, we discovered that one or two trams went there, although no indication was given in the timetable and just a small cardboard destination sign was displayed on the dashboard of these trams – so we missed our chance.

3 october 2008 - Resita (RO) - Mihai Eminescu. In the centre of the city, near the main railway station, an attempt has been made to make the surroundings a bit more attractive. Another ex-Dortmund car heads for the southern terminus, beyond the steel works. Note the fleet number neatly displayed in the destination window – all Resita trams had this.

3 october 2008 - Resita (RO) -Strada Libertatii. Passing the huge steelworks complex in the centre of Resita, an ex-Dortmund Düwag GT-8 heads north. Regrettably, this one-line tramway closed down in 2011. The fleet of around 30 Düwags, brought second hand from Germany from the late 1990s onwards, replaced the original Timis trams which had almost all disappeared by the time of our visit.
