Wygięte, trójkolorowe malowanie osiągnęło szczyt popularności mniej więcej w latach 2001-2003, kiedy to w tych barwach było około 90 pojazdów z ponad 280 w MPK. Były to przede wszystkim Neoplany i Jelcze z lat 90., a także kilkanaście starych, przemalowanych Jelczy i Ikarusów.
