W 1999 roku w związku z wybudowaniem trasy do Eccles (odcinek Cornbrook – Eccles) zakupiono kolejne Ansalda, tym razem z nowocześniejszą elektroniką (IGBT zamiast GTO). Niestety – wagony te jakoś nie robią na mnie tak dobrego wrażenia jak leciwe Supertrams z Sheffield – są głośniejsze, bardziej szarpią na zakrętach, a wnętrze jest mniej przestronne i jakieś bardziej „nudne”. Do tego te krzywo założone „nosy”…
