12 july 2010 - Altrincham (GB), odc. Altrincham - Navigation Road. Pociąg ruszył własnie z ostatniej stacji południowej trasy Metrolinka i teraz czeka go podróż przez całą aglomerację aż do Bury. Końcowy fragment linii do Altrinchcham biegnie równolegle do regionalnej linii kolejowej i z uwagi na brak miejsca jest częściowo jednotorowy. Kiedyś pociągi mogły zresztą jechać do centrum Manchesteru na wprost, po obecnych torach tramwajowych, dziś muszą robić sporego zawijasa przez Stockport.
